I've been dealing with this fever, cough, and cold situation, and while I've started taking meds, my sore throat just won't go away. I had some cucumber and tomato raita last night, and I'm worried if they might be making my throat worse. Could those foods be affecting my recovery?

I had tympanoplasty surgery on May 10th 2018 but since yesterday I've noticed some side effects like not being able to control my lips when rinsing water and losing control over some facial expressions is this normal after surgery and how long until these issues go away
