I was on a flight about three weeks ago and had a cold at the time. During the descent, I felt intense pressure in my right ear and it started hurting a lot. I took painkillers for a couple of days and, thankfully, the pain went away, but the pressure hasn't gotten back to normal since. I've tried blowing out or sucking in after pinching my nose, but nothing seems to work. I'm really worried about it. Could you offer some advice on what I should do next?

I had ear drum hole surgery about 4 years ago but for the last two years, I've been dealing with constant itching inside my ear. Could this be related to the surgery or something else? It's really bothering me and I'm not sure what to do about it

Itching in the ear after eardrum surgery, especially if it persists for two years, could be due to several factors, including a recurring infection, skin irritation, or even nerve sensitivity. It's important to consult with an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) specialist to determine the cause and appropriate treatment, as it's not normal for itching to persist this long after surgery.

I've been noticing that every time I wash my hair with lukewarm water, my head feels really cold afterward. It's strange because I also end up with a sore throat, especially when I've been caught in the rain too. I'm starting to wonder if there's a connection here or if I'm doing something wrong. Can you help me figure out why this might be happening?

You may be experiencing cold symptoms triggered by changes in temperature. To help alleviate your symptoms, you can try taking an over-the-counter medication like Tylenol Cold + Flu Severe for relief. Additionally, you can consider using a throat lozenge like Strepsils to soothe your sore throat. Make sure to stay warm and dry to prevent further discomfort.
