I was just diagnosed with a hiatus hernia and I'm a bit worried - can this be managed with meds or will I need surgery? I'm not sure how serious it is and what the best treatment options are

A hiatal hernia is a condition where a part of the stomach pushes up into the chest through an opening in the diaphragm. While many people with hiatal hernias don't experience symptoms and don't need treatment, others may experience symptoms like heartburn or acid reflux that can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications. In some cases, especially with large or symptomatic hernias, surgery may be needed to repair the hernia

My doctors did a barium swallow x-ray and found I have esophagus spasms in the lower part, around 10 cm. They suggested dilation to clear it, but because of the narrowing, there's a risk of damage or a tear, which might need surgery. I'm not sure if I should go ahead with the procedure in my city, Ranchi, or seek treatment somewhere else. What would be the safer option given the risks?

I'm dealing with loose motions right now and it's really tough to keep eating the same things like khichdi, daliya, and poha every meal. I also can't have curd rice because I've got a cough. Could you recommend any other foods that would be suitable for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

I'm having some really bad backaches at night, and it feels like there's gas building up in my back. When I press certain spots on my back, the gas only seems to release through my mouth, which is really odd. It normally doesn't release otherwise and it's messing with my sleep. This all started happening after I had a C-section. What could be going on? Is there something I can do to fix it?
