I was trying to conceive and underwent a follicular study. After ovulation, my doctor prescribed Susten 400 (vaginal) for 15 days. My last LMP was 1st August. I have neither got my period nor is my pregnancy test positive. Can you suggest the possible cause? Does Susten 400 delay periods, or could I still be pregnant?

Susten 400 (progesterone) can delay your period even if you are not pregnant because it maintains the uterine lining. If your period has not come after stopping Susten and your pregnancy test is negative, it is likely due to the medication. To confirm pregnancy accurately, you can book a Serum Beta hCG test now. If negative, your doctor may advise medication to induce your period and plan your next cycle. consult OBGYN FOR ADVICE

Can someone please explain the difference between a beta hCG test and a serum beta hCG blood test?

When I was pregnant, I used only medicine for abortion. After the abortion, I checked my blood report, and my abortion was complete. However, my periods have not come for the last two months.
