I'm 22 and considering LASIK surgery but worried about side effects since my eye power is -3 in both eyes. What problems could I face after the procedure?

My right eye has a 6D prescription and my left eye is at 8D. Even with glasses, my vision is only 66. Is there any way to get my normal eyesight back maybe through diet, meds, or surgery? I'm really worried about my myopia getting worse.
