I'm 23 and have had hypothyroidism for the last 6 months. Is it safe for me to get LASIK eye surgery or could my condition affect the results?

I've been looking into LASIK surgery options lately and stumbled across keratoconus. I'm 22 and have had pretty stable glasses prescription for the last 3 years with no major vision issues, but my astigmatism is pretty high (sph 6, cyl 2.75). Could this mean I might have keratoconus or am I just overthinking it? Is there a way to rule this out for sure?
