I'm 24 and I've been masturbating for the past six years. Lately, I've noticed that the shaft of my penis isn't as soft as it used to be. There's also this numb and itchy feeling that comes with it, and its been worrying me. I stopped masturbating for a bit to see if things would get better, but I haven't noticed any changes. Should I be talking to a dermatologist or a urologist about this?

View allI have grade 2 varicocele on the left side and grade 1 on the right, with a sperm count of 8 million/ml and very low motility at 10% and morphology at 1%. I'm considering surgery but unsure which method is better laparoscopic or microsurgery. What's the difference between these two in terms of repairing varicocele, and which one would be more suitable for my condition?

How can you tell the difference between congenital phimosis and adult-onset phimosis? Also, does having phimosis mean someone is impotent? And is there a way to treat congenital phimosis without needing surgery, maybe using something like betamethasone cream?
Congenital phimosis is present from birth, where the foreskin cannot be retracted due to a tight opening, while phimosis in adults often develops due to scarring or infection. Phimosis is not considered impotence, as it primarily affects the foreskin's ability to retract, not erectile function. Betamethasone cream can be effective in mild cases of congenital phimosis by reducing inflammation and allowing easier retraction, but surgery may still be required for more severe cases.
