I'm 26 and I have this recurring issue where my nose gets blocked whenever there's pollution or if I catch a cold. It's like when one nostril is blocked, the other one decides to join in. I've been relying on Otrinoz nasal drops constantly, and I'm really looking for a more permanent solution. Could you suggest anything that would help me solve this problem for good?

I'm really worried about this sensation of something stuck in my throat that's been bothering me for the last three months. At first, there was this heaviness near my throat, but thankfully that's gotten better. Whats weird is the problem of feeling like there's something there just won't go away. Earlier, I also had a burping issue, but thats stopped now. I should mention I used to smoke and have quit since March when these throat issues started. Any idea what could be going on?

Your persistent sensation of something stuck in your throat, despite improvement in heaviness, could be related to acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or a throat irritation; quitting smoking is a positive step, but consider consulting an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist or a gastroenterologist to rule out underlying conditions, such as a throat polyp, inflammation, or esophageal narrowing, and to discuss further diagnostic tests like endoscopy or imaging studies.

I've been experiencing something strange in my throat where I can feel my uvula after waking up with a dry mouth. It's not painful, but it's really bothersome. I've never noticed my uvula like this before, and I'm not sure what to do. Can you help me understand what's going on and if I should be worried?

It sounds like your uvula might be slightly swollen or dry, which can happen with a dry mouth. Try drinking water to stay hydrated and consider using a humidifier to add moisture to the air. If it continues to feel uncomfortable or bothersome, its a good idea to see a doctor to rule out any other causes.

I've noticed a lump between my ear and jaw that's been sore for about three days now. It hasn't changed in size and doesn't seem like it can move around. I'm 18, so I'm a bit worried. Any idea what it might be?

Excessive sneezing and nasal congestion can be frustrating! Given your symptoms and the ineffectiveness of Fexofenadine, consider the following options: 1. _Consult an Allergist_: For comprehensive allergy testing to identify specific allergens triggering your symptoms. 2. _Nasal Sprays_: Add a nasal spray to your treatment, such as: - Azelastine (antihistamine) - Fluticasone (steroid) - Ipratropium (anticholinergic) 3. _Immunotherapy_: If allergy testing reveals specific allergens, consider immunotherapy (allergy shots or sublingual tablets) for long-term relief. 4. _Saline Nasal Irrigation_: Regularly rinse your nasal passages with a saline solution to remove allergens and reduce congestion. 5. _HEPA Filters_: Use HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters in your home to reduce allergen exposure. Discuss these options with your ENT doctor or allergist to determine the best course of action for your specific situation.
