I'm 26 and I have this recurring issue where my nose gets blocked whenever there's pollution or if I catch a cold. It's like when one nostril is blocked, the other one decides to join in. I've been relying on Otrinoz nasal drops constantly, and I'm really looking for a more permanent solution. Could you suggest anything that would help me solve this problem for good?

View allI'm really worried because I've had this lump feeling in the back of my throat and mouth for about three months now. I've also noticed some white spots back there. My doctor mentioned it could be pharyngitis, but even after three months of medication, that feeling hasnt gone away. Now I've started having neck and back pain, and there's this weird sweet and sour taste in my mouth. Im feeling pretty confused and scared about all this. Could you give me some advice on what might be going on?

I've been dealing with nasal issues and got mixed opinions one doctor did an endoscopy and said I have DNS to the right, recommending surgery, while three others who checked my CT scan said it's just allergies and prescribed Cetirizine. The meds help but leave my nose and throat super dry, and the mucus is white. The weird part is I don't sneeze from typical triggers like dust or sunlight, but after sex, I feel like my immune system drops and cold-like symptoms kick in, leading to sneezing. If I skip meds for a couple of days, even small things like temperature changes, water, dust, or smells set off sneezing. How do I figure out if surgery is really needed or if pranayama could help? Is the DNS causing allergic symptoms or is the allergy making DNS worse? Can this be diagnosed precisely, or is trial and error the only way?
septoplasty is advised.

I've been noticing something a bit off with my throat lately. One of my tonsils is bigger than the other, and though it's really swollen, it doesn't hurt. It has holes in it, and every now and then I notice these small white stone-like things coming out that smell pretty bad. On top of that, my throat has these red bumps that just won't go away. And when I swallow, it feels like there's something on the side with the swollen tonsil. Could this be serious, like tonsil cancer? Should I be thinking about getting my tonsils removed? I'm really worried and would appreciate some guidance on what this might be.
It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of tonsillitis with tonsil stones. Tonsillitis can cause one tonsil to be larger than the other, along with swelling, holes, and the presence of white stones that emit a foul odor. The red bumps on the wall of your throat may be related to the inflammation in the area. The sensation of something being present when you swallow could be due to the swollen tonsil. I recommend you start with a course of antibiotics to treat the infection. Use a throat gargle like Chlorhexidine mouthwash to help with the symptoms. If the symptoms persist or worsen, further evaluation by an ENT specialist may be necessary.
