I'm 32 weeks pregnant and recently my blood pressure was at 10060. My local doctor prescribed me Nicardia Retard 10mg, and I took it every morning for about 18 days. After that, I started experiencing some issues like heart palpitations, more sweating, and even fainting, so I decided to stop taking it. I'm really worried now. Could these side effects have any impact on my baby, both while I'm still pregnant and after the birth?

View allI'm a bit concerned after taking misoprostol last night at 9:40 pm. I experienced some moderate cramping but didn't notice any significant bleeding. Around 4 am, there was a little bleeding but it stopped quickly, though I'm still having on-and-off cramps. Ive been advised to take another dose of misoprostol again at 9:40 pm tonight. Is this normal, or could it be a sign of an incomplete abortion?
Based on your symptoms, it appears that the misoprostol is taking effect, but the abortion process may not be complete, as evidenced by the moderate cramping, initial bleeding that stopped, and the need for a second dose of misoprostol, which is a common practice to ensure complete abortion, but it's essential to follow up with your healthcare provider within 24-48 hours to confirm the completeness of the abortion and rule out any potential complications.

Ultrasound showed multiple fibroids in my uterus and they're suggesting surgery but I'm not sure if it's urgent or if I can wait a year or so. Can you review my reports to confirm the timeline? Where should I send them for your opinion?
Myomectomy and gynaec opinion is advised.

I'm a 41-year-old woman and have been healthy overall. Until recently, my menstrual cycle was quite regular at 25 days, but since April, it has shifted to once every 50 days, so now I'm getting my period every two months. Along with this change, I've also started feeling breast pain, much like the sensation during pregnancy. I'm wondering if these are signs of menopause starting. Should I be considering any medication for this? For context, my mom began menopause in her 40s too.
Its possible that youre experiencing early perimenopause, especially given the changes in your menstrual cycle and breast tenderness, which are common symptoms. Since your mother also went through menopause in her 40s, this could be hereditary. Its a good idea to consult your doctor for a thorough evaluation and to discuss whether any treatment or lifestyle changes would be helpful for managing symptoms.
