I'm 35 and for the past five years, I've been dealing with these painful bumps with pus on my scalp, which the doctors say is scalp folliculitis. I attached some images to show what's been going on. I've already seen a dermatologist, but I'm still struggling to find relief. I've tried a bunch of medicines and shampoos like Isotrian 10 mg, T.Bact Shampoo, 8X Shampoo, Limcee Tablet, Cap Doxt 100 mg, Salisia KT Shampoo, Metasone F Cream, Pantop 40, Gudcef CV, Amoxyclavunate 625 mg, Ultiderm Lotion, Cadid TV Shampoo, Monoz 500 mg, Flutican200, Sporolac, Septran Tablet, Isotroin 20 mg, and Trigaine Shampoo, but nothing seems to work. Can you please suggest the best tablets or shampoos that might help with this?

It sounds like you have been dealing with scalp folliculitis for quite some time despite trying various medications. Based on the medications you have listed, I would recommend continuing with T.BACT SHAMPOO for its antibacterial properties to help with the infection in the hair follicles. Additionally, you can try using SALISIA KT SHAMPOO to help reduce inflammation and itching on the scalp. For oral medications, you can continue with CAP DOXT 100 MG for its antibiotic properties. In addition, you can try ISOTROIN 20 MG to help regulate oil production in the skin and prevent clogged pores. It's important to follow the prescribed dosages for each medication and to be consistent with your treatment regimen. If you experience any severe side effects or if the condition does not improve, it would be best to follow up with your dermatologist for further evaluation and management.

I'm dealing with sudden acne after applying fudic cream on my face. It was prescribed for a skin allergy related to hair follicles. Do you think this breakout could be because of the new VLCC facial kit I used, or is it more likely from the fudic cream? I'm really puzzled and could use your insight.

Sudden acne can be frustrating, especially when you're trying to address another skin concern. Possible Causes of Acne 1. Fudic cream: As you mentioned, the cream itself could be causing acne, especially if you're sensitive to any of its ingredients. 2. VLCC facial kit: New skincare products can cause acne, especially if they contain comedogenic ingredients that clog pores. 3. Skin purging: When introducing new skincare products, your skin may go through a "purge" phase, where it pushes out underlying impurities, leading to temporary acne. 4. Hair follicle allergy: The underlying skin allergy related to hair follicles could be contributing to the acne. Recommended Next Steps 1. Stop using the VLCC facial kit: Discontinue use to see if the acne improves.

I'm dealing with some hair loss issues and I've heard about Finax as a possible solution. How safe is it to use, and what are the chances that it will help with hair regrowth? Could you also let me know if a prescription is necessary for it?

Finax is a popular medication for hair loss, but its safety and effectiveness depend on various factors. What is Finax? Finax is a brand name for Finasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. It's primarily used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) but is also effective in promoting hair growth and slowing down hair loss. Safety Profile Finasteride is generally considered safe when used as directed. However, like any medication, it can cause side effects, such as: 1. Sexual dysfunction: Decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculation disorders. 2. Breast tenderness or enlargement: Rare but possible. 3. Mood changes: Depression, anxiety, or mood swings. Efficacy for Hair Regrowth Finasteride has been shown to be effective in promoting hair growth and slowing down hair loss in men with androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness). Studies have demonstrated: 1. Hair growth: Finasteride can increase hair growth by 10-15% over a 2-year period. 2. Hair loss reduction: Finasteride can reduce hair loss by 30-40% over a 2-year period. Prescription and Dosage Finax is a prescription medication, and you should consult a doctor before starting treatment. The typical dosage for hair loss is: 1. My friend has been dealing with a lot of unwanted hair growth in places like the navel and underarms. Are there any effective treatments for this that don't involve laser surgery?

Hormonal imbalance, PCOS, or genetics could cause unwanted hair. Options include waxing, shaving, depilatory creams, electrolysis, or anti-androgen medications—not only laser.
