I'm a 38 year old with severe neck pain that's shooting down into my left hand my doctor suggested a steroid course starting with predmet 16mg and tapering off but mentioned surgery as the next step if that doesn't work does this sound like the right approach for my condition

Usually steroid course is given in carpal tunnel syndrome patients. First of all if ur symptoms r due to CTS ,then only it will work.it will be diagnosed based on nerve conduction studies done by trained neurologist.(surgery will be dobe for severe CTS ) If due to cervical spondylitic( needs mri c.spine ) radiculopathy, stetoids wont be of use . So better to be seen by neurologist and get evaluated properly.(surgery will be done in only severe compression

I'm really worried because two days ago, my sister suddenly passed out and had a really bad headache for about 30 minutes. She's not diabetic or dealing with blood pressure issues, so it was totally unexpected, and now I'm just trying to figure out what could have caused it. Any ideas on what might be going on?

So, I've been having this thing happening where when I lie down and close my eyes, I start feeling this pulsating sensation and a little dizziness, like a tightness in the back of my head. It comes and goes, especially when I'm breathing in and out. It usually goes away after a bit, but I'm not sure what's triggering it. Sometimes I don't feel it at all, but other times it'll happen while I'm just sitting too. Also, I have an anxiety disorder, and my heart rate usually stays between 80 to 90 bpm. Does this sound like something I should be worried about, or is it more linked to my anxiety?

After a serious brain and left side face surgery from an accident two months ago, I'm still on a liquid diet and can't open my mouth fully. What could be causing this?

After brain and facial surgery, limited mouth opening and difficulties swallowing (dysphagia) can result from several factors, including muscle spasms (trismus), nerve damage, or scar tissue formation. These issues can impact your ability to eat solid foods and could require a period of recovery and therapy.
