I'm 49 and have an anteverted bulky uterus measuring 101x59 mm. The myometrium shows two anterior wall fibroids 46x40 mm and 30x20 mm. Do I need surgery for this, or are there other treatment options I can consider?

I have a 5.5cm intramural fundal fibroid and my doctor recommended open surgery instead of laparoscopic. I'm planning for pregnancy soon should I go ahead with the surgery? What are the possible complications? Would abdominal open surgery be better than laparoscopic in my case?

It's generally recommended to address large fibroids, like yours, before attempting pregnancy, as they can interfere with implantation, growth, and delivery. Open surgery might be considered over laparoscopic for very large or multiple fibroids. Open surgery also carries a higher risk of complications like scarring, blood loss, and adhesions. Ultimately, the decision of whether to proceed with surgery depends on your individual circumstances, including the fibroid's size, location, your overall health, and your fertility goals

My wife is 34 weeks pregnant and she's been dealing with a really bothersome dry cough lately. I'm quite concerned and would really appreciate any advice on what we can do to relieve her discomfort. Could you recommend a safe and effective solution for her?

suffering from a dry cough, consider these natural remedies: Home Remedies - Eat raw garlic with honey to alleviate congestion - Drink apple cider vinegar mixed with water or black tea to boost immunity - Gargle with warm salty water to reduce respiratory infections - Stay hydrated with warm water, clear broth, or warm lemon water - Use a humidifier to moisturize nasal, throat, and lung passages - Try ginger tea to reduce phlegm and inflammation
