I'm 70 years old and dealing with really bad knee joint pain in both legs. Is there any way to treat this with Ayurveda? I don't want to get knee replacement surgery but the pain is so severe I can barely walk. What options do I have?

I'm really concerned about my mom's ESR test results. It came back at 85, and I know that's above the normal range of 020. Even though we had a CECT done on her chest and abdomen, which came back clear, I'm worried about what might be causing her high ESR. She's dealing with mild arthritis and osteoporosis too. Could you help explain what might be going on, and suggest if we need to do any other tests?

A high ESR value can indicate inflammation in the body. Given your mother's history of mild arthritis and osteoporosis, the high ESR value could be related to these conditions. However, other possible reasons for a high ESR value include infections, certain autoimmune diseases, and some types of cancer. In this case, considering her symptoms and medical history, it would be advisable to consult with a Rheumatologist for further evaluation.

I've been having some trouble lately. Whenever I do physical activity, I end up pulling muscles like my hamstring, and I feel like my joints, bones, and muscles are just weak. Its frustrating because I'm experiencing so much pain all overlike my low back, fingers, elbows, knees, you name it. A couple of months ago, I visited an orthopedic surgeon, and after some tests, it turned out I had high uric acid levels, so they gave me medicine for three weeks. But it didnt really help, and I'm still dealing with these issues. Could you help me figure out what's going on? What should I do next?

In my opinion your uric acid levels have not become normal so you need to continue with the medication for a month and den you need to get it checked once again.. as you are saying that you are getting pain everywhere in the body you must also go for calcium vitamin d and vitamin b 12 levels checked I think that will be deranged as well... so if they are deranged then you need to take medications for that...and stop masturbating on a regular basis... becoz body becomes weak if anybody does it daily...get well soon take care...

I'm really worried about my sister because her ESR blood count is higher than normal, it's 70. She's 36 and also dealing with a lot of itching. What do you think she should do? Could you help us figure this out?

Your sister's elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) along with itching can indicate inflammation or infection in her body. It is important for her to consult a doctor for further evaluation and proper diagnosis. In the meantime, she can take an antihistamine like Cetirizine 10mg once daily to help with the itching. Additionally, she can use a soothing lotion like Calamine lotion on the affected areas. Make sure she stays hydrated and avoids scratching to prevent any skin damage.
