I'm a bit concerned about my recovery after having septoplasty and inferior turbinate reduction surgery two weeks ago. My nose has been really dry and painful when I inhale, and it even vibrates when I breathe heavily. Is this something that will get better soon, or should I be worried?

View allI've been experiencing this weird click sensation in my throat whenever I swallow, almost like something is shifting around in there. It's not painful, but there's this constant feeling of something being there, and its seriously annoying, especially when I'm trying to sleep. I have this lingering cough sensation too, but it's mostly just an odd feeling rather than a full cough. I did drink a lot of alcohol for over a year, which I thought might be the cause, but Ive stopped drinking for the last month and a half, yet the problem persists. I've tried looking up stuff on Google but ended up more confused. Any idea what might be going on or how I can get rid of this discomfort?

Can you help me figure out how effective adenoid surgery is for kids, both in the short term and long term? And is it true that once the adenoids are removed, they won't grow back? I'm really curious about this.
Adenoid surgery can provide both short-term and long-term benefits for children, especially in terms of relieving chronic nasal and ear problems. It's very unlikely that the adenoids will grow back to the same size after surgery. Most children experience significant and sustained improvements, but if any symptoms return, it would likely be due to other underlying issues, not the regrowth of the adenoids.
