I'm a bit concerned about this shortness of breath I keep experiencing, especially after 3 pm nearly every day. I find myself needing to take deep breaths or breathe through my mouth, and sometimes my chest hurts because of it. I've been dealing with this off and on since 2014, but it wasn't as frequent back then, and my doctor said I was fine. Now it's happening daily, and I'm not sure what to make of it. Is there something specific that could be causing this? I drink water regularly and try to stay healthy, so it's puzzling why this keeps occurring.

I'm having this really bothersome dry cough, and it seems to get worse when I'm under a ceiling fan or in an air-conditioned room. I don't notice it as much when the room temperature is normal though. Also, the mucus I cough up is white. Could it be something to do with excess heat in my body? I've been smoking for almost 15 years but quit recently because I've been dealing with frequent coughs and colds. I'm worried about what damage smoking might have done to my lungs. Are there specific tests I should get done to check on the health of my lungs? Could you also tell me if there's a way to help them recover from the damage? And I'm curious, does a chest X-ray actually show the damage clearly?

Ecg ,spirometry,lung function tests (PFT)and x-ray chest is advised to the patient. Smoking cessation and aerobic exercises is advised to the patient.

I've had left pleural fluid since December 2021, and I'm still on TB medicine. According to my chest CT and PET CT scans, the TB has relapsed, and mycobacterium was detected with low RIF resistance. I'm taking the 4 TB tablets daily, but why did it relapse?

probably mycobacterium in you has become resistant to medicines which you are taking . relapse also has a treatment donot worry
