I'm a bit concerned about the size of the lymph node in my axilla. My breast ultrasound report mentioned that there's "no lymphadenopathy seen," but I'm wondering if the 259 mm measurement is considered normal. Could you help me understand what this means?

View allMy mom has stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma and just finished her third cycle of GemCis chemo. The doctors say surgery isn't an option and are only recommending palliative care. The tumor hasn't shrunk much, but she did respond somewhat to the first three cycles. She's lost a lot of weight, has no appetite, and feels really weak. Her oncologist is against homeopathy, but I'm wondering if adding it now could help shrink the tumor or at least support her during chemo. Is it safe to combine homeopathy with chemo, or should we wait until after treatment?

I have neuroendocrine tumor rectal colon cancer and have already gone through 25 rounds of chemo radiation with capacitabine tablets plus photon radiation, along with 4 cycles of carboplatin and etoposide chemo. Will I need surgery for this? Is this type of cancer fully curable can I expect to recover completely and be disease-free?

Is a single swollen and painful lymph node something to worry about could it be a sign of cancer? And if it is, can they just remove that one lymph node with surgery or do they have to take out more?
Single swollen lymph nodes often resolve with infection. If persistent, hard, or growing, FNAC or biopsy may be required. If cancerous, surgery may need to remove more than just one node.
