I'm a bit confused about how periods and ovulation are connected. Is it possible to have a period without ovulating? And if I do ovulate, does that mean I'll definitely get my period about 15 days after? I'm just trying to understand how it all works.

Yes, it is possible to have a menstrual period without ovulation. This is known as an anovulatory cycle. Yes, typically after ovulation, a menstrual period occurs around 14 days later. This is known as the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. If fertilization does not occur, the uterine lining sheds, resulting in menstruation. If you are looking for a medication to regulate your menstrual cycle, you can consider using oral contraceptive pills such as Yaz or Yasmin.

View allI'm a bit worried since my wife is just 7 weeks pregnant and her doctor has suggested she take ecosprin 150 every night before bed. Is it really okay to start this medication so early in the pregnancy? It's our second baby, and everything has been smooth so far, no complications or miscarriages or anything.
is there any health issues, refer to gynecologist.

I'm a pathologist and currently pregnant. I've had a 7-week ultrasound which showed a fetal heartbeat at 108 beats per minute and the baby's length is 6mm. From what I know, this all seems normal, but I'm aware that hCG is a schedule X drug. Given my situation, should I consider getting hCG injections?
