I'm a bit confused and worried. The doctor first suggested I take Montec LC for three days, but then after one day, they added Azee500 for another three days. Is it okay to take both medications at the same time, or could there be any issues with that?

View allI'm really confused about my situationI've been feeling weak for the past two weeks. When I went to the doctor, they said it's likely a viral infection. But I'm also dealing with congestion in my head and ears, like there's something similar to a cough. After five days of taking meds, nothing's changed. The doc suggested a blood and urine test; everything came out normal except my S Typhi O levels, which are 1160 positive. Does this mean I have typhoid? I'm not running a fever, though, my temperature is just around 97. Could this still be typhoid even without a fever?
Based on your symptoms and the positive result for S Typhi O, it is possible that you have a mild form of typhoid fever. Even though you do not have a high fever, a positive S Typhi O test result at 1:160 indicates exposure to the bacteria that cause typhoid. It is important to complete the full course of antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor to ensure the infection is completely cleared. Additionally, make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest to help your body recover.

How soon after recovering from dengue can I start drinking alcohol again? I've been feeling good for about a week now and my vitals are back to normal. Is it safe to have a drink, or should I wait a bit longer?
It is generally recommended to wait at least 2-3 weeks after recovering from dengue fever before consuming alcohol. This allows your body to fully recover and regain its strength. Remember to start with small amounts and listen to your body for any signs of discomfort.

My husband has been in the hospital for the past two days with a fever of 101, a sore throat, and weakness. He even fainted because his blood pressure was low, and his pulse was only 58. His oxygen saturation levels have been fluctuating between 87 and 89, but with oxygen, its between 92 and 94. We've had several tests, and I'm really concerned about his interleukin IL-6 levels, which came back at 290. I've attached the report for reference. Could you explain what this value means and what side effects he might experience? What precautions should we be taking right now?
