I'm a bit puzzled about something my doctor mentioned during my check-up. They said I had a "soft abdomen." What exactly does that mean? Is it something I should be worried about or follow up on?

I'm dealing with hemorrhoids for about a year and a half now, and I'm really eager to find a solution. Could it be an issue if I start going to the gym or playing sports? Any advice would be great!

Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day..... Don't use dry toilet paper. To help keep the anal area clean after a bowel movement, use moist towelettes or wet toilet paper that doesn't contain perfume or alcohol. Apply cold. Apply ice packs or cold compresses on your anus to relieve swelling. With these treatments, hemorrhoid symptoms often go away within a week.

I'm worried about my total bilirubin level, which is 1.56. Does that mean I have jaundice, or could it be something else?

A total bilirubin level of 1.56 mgdL is slightly elevated, but it is important to consider the normal range and context in interpreting this result. The typical normal range for total bilirubin in adults is around 0.1 to 1.2 mgdL, To get a clearer picture of your liver function, it is helpful to check other liver enzymes such as AST (SGOT), ALT (SGPT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and GGT. If these are elevated along with bilirubin, it may indicate liver dysfunction.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my breathing every evening; it feels like some sort of shortness of breath. I suspect it might be linked to acid reflux because when I manage to get rid of some gas, my breathing seems to return to normal. The feeling's pretty uncomfortable when the gas is there, and I'm starting to worry if there might be a lung issue going on. Could this be something related to my lungs, or is it really just about the reflux? Any guidance would be really appreciated.
