I'm a bit worried about my recent kidney function blood test results. I had it done yesterday, and I saw that my serum creatinine is 0.9 mgdl, BUN is at 10.16 mgdl, uric acid level is 2.7 mgdl, and calcium is 9.34 mgdl. What's got me concerned is that the uric acid level is below the normal range. Is this something I should be worried about or get treated? By the way, I only have my right kidney because I had a nephrectomy on my left kidney at birth. Any advice would be appreciated.

Traces of protein in the urine means a small amount of protein ,which could be normal or due to urinary tract infection.But a larger amount of protein indicates serious disorders of kidneys. You could repeat the urine analysis after few days and if it shows presence of protein , you need to go through further tests.

I've noticed my creatinine level went up to 1.46 again, and my protein creatinine ratio is at 0.95. I'm taking Cap Neoral 100100, Azoran 75mg, Wysolone 5mg, Telma 40mg, Prolomet XL 25mg daily, and Inderal 20mg twice. Last month, I had a similar issue with my S.creatinine and creatinine protein ratio, and my doctor increased my dose of Wysolone to 30mg, which brought my creatinine down to 1.2. But now it's back up to 1.46 again. The doctor is suggesting I should go for a biopsy, and I'm kind of stressed about it. Do you think I should proceed with it? I'd really appreciate your advice.

I'm really concerned about my dad. He's been dealing with heart issues and diabetes for over four years, and now his latest checkup showed his creatinine levels are up. I'm curious if there are specific foods, maybe certain types of millet or anything else, that might help lower his creatinine. Also, I'm a bit confused about how much fluid he should actually be drinking.
