I'm a bit worried about this report I got that mentions polypoidal mucosal thickening in my left maxillary sinus. What exactly does that mean? Is there any future risk I should be aware of?

So, I accidentally burnt my throat eating hot food yesterday. I tried drinking water, gargling with Dispirin, and even used honey, which helped a bit. But this morning, my throat's really hurting, and it looks like a gland, maybe my tonsils, is swollen. My doctor's only available during the weekany advice on what I can do until then?

I've been having this mild pain on the right side of my throat. It's sort of around the mid to lower area, but I don't have a fever or a sore throat. It's been bothering me a bit, and I'm not sure what's going on. Any idea what might be causing this?

Right side throat pain with no fever or sore throat could be due to various reasons such as muscle strain, acid reflux, or even a mild infection. To help alleviate the pain, you can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil) at the recommended dosage. Additionally, you can try gargling with warm salt water to soothe the throat. If the pain persists or worsens, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.
