I'm a bit worried about these sudden black marks that appeared on my skin. They don't itch or anything, but I'm concerned. Could you help me understand what might be causing this?

Common Causes*
- Melasma: A harmless skin condition causing dark patches, often due to hormonal changes or sun exposure.
- Skin hyperpigmentation: Dark spots or patches can appear due to inflammation, injury, or skin conditions like acne.
- Dermatosis papulosa nigra (DPN): A benign skin condition characterized by dark, raised spots.
Other Possible Causes
- Birthmarks: Some birthmarks, like Mongolian spots, can appear as dark patches.
- Skin injuries: Trauma or injury to the skin can cause dark spots or patches.
- Medication side effects: Certain medications can cause skin discoloration as a side effect.
Next Steps
- Consult a dermatologist: Schedule an appointment with a dermatologist to examine the mark and determine the cause.
- Get a proper diagnosis: A dermatologist can provide a definitive diagnosis and recommend treatment options if necessary.
- Prevent further darkening: Avoid excessive sun exposure, use sunscreen with at least SPF 30, and wear protective clothing to prevent further darkening of the mark.

I've been taking cetcipl tabs for my skin allergies, but I've missed it three times. They said it needs to be taken continuously for 30 days. What should I do now?
Since you have missed a few doses, try to continue taking the medication as prescribed for the remaining days. Take one tablet of cetcip-l (cetirizine) daily for the next 27 days to complete the 30-day course. Remember to take it at the same time each day for best results.
