I'm a bit worried because my RBC count came back as 6.22, and I actually tested it twice in the last 10 months, with readings like 6.24 and 6.1. What could this mean for my health? Should I be looking into other tests, or is donating blood a good way to help bring things back to normal?

Your RBC count of 6.22 is slightly elevated, but it remains within a common range for some individuals, particularly those who are physically active or live at high altitudes. However, it's important to assess other factors, such as overall health and symptoms. Donating blood may help, but I recommend discussing this with your doctor to rule out any underlying conditions and determine the best course of action.

View allHow long does it typically take for hospitals to screen blood after a donation? I donated on Saturday around 11 am and now it's been over 30 hours since then. I'm just wondering if they've already screened my blood or not.
screening completed within 24 hrs but if there are lot of samples it takes time to screen your sample

I'm a bit concerned about my lab results. My RDW is 14.7, which I believe is normal, but my eosinophils are at 6.1, and I'm wondering if thats on the higher side since the normal range is 1 to 6. My MPV is 11.7 fL, which seems normal since the range is 7.2 to 11.1. Also, my platelet count is 207,000 and normal, but Im still curious about the eosinophils being slightly elevated. Could this mean something I should be worried about? Any insight would be really helpful.
