I'm brushing my teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once after dinner, using Colgate toothpaste and an Oral B brush. I brush for over 10 minutes each time, but I noticed these black spots on my teeth that aren't going away. In fact, they seem to be getting worse and are now on five of my teeth. What could be causing these spots and what can I do about it?

View allI've noticed these little holes inside my cheeks on both sides. There's no pain or bleeding, but when I touch them with my tongue, they feel like they're injured. It's a bit worrying since they're just there without any obvious cause. Should I be concerned or is this something normal? What could be causing them?

I've been noticing that when I wake up in the morning and spit out the saliva that's built up overnight, it's yellow. I've tried brushing my teeth before going to bed and even using mouthwash, but it still happens. It's been a problem for the past couple of months. Any idea what might be causing this?
This can be due to conditions like dry mouth, sinus infections, or even acid reflux. I would recommend using an antibacterial mouthwash like Listerine twice daily and staying hydrated throughout the day. If the issue persists, you can try over-the-counter antacids like Tums for acid reflux. If symptoms continue, consult a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

I've bitten the inside of my lip by mistake, and it's gotten pretty swollen now. It's really making eating and talking tough. What should I do about it?
You can try using an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen to help reduce the swelling and pain. Additionally, you can apply a topical oral gel containing lidocaine to help numb the area and provide some relief. Make sure to eat soft foods and avoid spicy or acidic foods that may irritate the area further. If the swelling persists or worsens, it would be best to consult with a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
