I'm brushing my teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once after dinner, using Colgate toothpaste and an Oral B brush. I brush for over 10 minutes each time, but I noticed these black spots on my teeth that aren't going away. In fact, they seem to be getting worse and are now on five of my teeth. What could be causing these spots and what can I do about it?

View allI'm dealing with this small hole in my mouth near my lower left molar, and it's always hurting. I notice it feels a bit better after I gargle for a little bit. There's no bleeding, but the pain wont go away, and there's some swelling in my left jaw. I'm starting to worry if this could be something serious like cancer or if it's just an issue with my wisdom tooth. What could be causing this?
It sounds more likely to be related to a wisdom tooth issue or a dental infection, especially if there's swelling and pain in the jaw. Cancer typically involves more noticeable changes like persistent sores, bleeding, or lumps. It's best to see a dentist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.

I'm pretty sure I've got a canker sore on my palatoglossal arch, and it's been growing. There's no headache or stomach pain, just pain right where the ulcer seems to be. If it's not a canker sore, what else could it be? It's been around for a week now and isn't showing any signs of shrinking or healing. What should I do to treat it? I'm starting to get a bit worried.
consult a ENT specialist for further management. Any long standing ulcer should be biopsied and ruled out for malignancy.

My dad is getting a front tooth replacement under a health scheme and the doctors have done multiple root canals during the process. Could there be any long-term side effects from this? He's also noticing a slight shivering in his right thumb could that be related?
