I'm concerned about the results of my X-ray from April 10. What exactly does pneumonitis mean? Is it the same thing as pneumonia? I'd really appreciate some guidance on this.

View allI recently had a chest X-ray, and the results mentioned unwanted bronchovascular markings. I'm a bit worried because this has delayed my gallstone surgery. Can you help me understand what these findings mean and if it's something serious?

I've been having this sharp pain in the right side of my chest whenever I take a deep breath. It just started a couple of days ago and I'm not sure what's causing it. Could this be something serious? Should I be worried about my lung?

My dad's been diagnosed with pulmonary TB, but it was kind of a surprise because he didn't show the usual symptoms like a persistent cough or weight loss. His weight is 47kg and he's 78 years old. We began AKT4 treatment, and everything seemed fine for the first five days. But by the seventh day, he had really bad nausea, vomiting, and extreme weakness. When we got him to the hospital, they found his sodium and potassium levels had tanked. They've suggested stopping AKT4 for a couple of days until his levels stabilize, then restarting with a slightly lower dosage. Is it okay to pause and adjust his meds like this since it's still the early stage of TB and there isn't much lung damage?
it is okay to restart tuberculosis treatment
