I'm curious about the long-term effects of using melanin-reducing soaps and creams. Can they make a person's skin permanently lighter? Also, what kind of side effects should one be aware of when using these products?

I've been dealing with this black scar on my upper lip ever since I waxed it five months ago, and it's starting to worry me. I've been struggling with acne-prone skin and came across Mama Earth's tea tree face wash and oil-free moisturizer. They say they're chemical-free, but I'm a bit skeptical. Are these products really good for someone with acne-prone skin, and do they truly avoid harsh chemicals? I'm curious if I should give them a try.
