I'm dealing with a lot of vaginal itching and burning right now, and I'm using itch guard which only seems to help for a short while. Could you please tell me what might be causing this and if there's something more effective I could try?

I recommend using an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole (Canesten) twice a day for 1-2 weeks. Additionally, you can take oral antihistamines like Cetirizine (Zyrtec) once daily to help with the itching. Make sure to maintain good hygiene and avoid using scented products in the genital area. If the symptoms persist, please consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and management.
