I'm dealing with a bad case of piles for about a week now, and it hasn't improved. I'm not dealing with any other medical issues at the moment. What would you suggest I do next?

Leg Pain Due to Cold Air Exposure
Possible Causes
- Cold-induced vasospasm: Exposure to cold air from fans or ACs can cause blood vessels in your legs to constrict, leading to pain.
- Muscle cramps: Cold air can also cause muscle cramps, especially in the legs.
- Poor circulation: Reduced blood flow to the legs can contribute to pain, especially in cold environments.
Self-Care Measures
- Avoid direct exposure: Try to avoid sitting directly under fans or ACs.
- Dress warmly: Wear warm clothing, especially on your legs, when in cold environments.
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to maintain blood flow and circulation.
- Stretch and move: Regularly stretch and move your legs to improve circulation.
When to Seek Medical Attention
- Severe pain: If pain is unbearable or worsens over time.
- Persistent pain: If pain persists or recurs frequently.
- Other symptoms: If you experience numbness, tingling, or weakness in your legs

View allI've been experiencing some discomfort recently, especially when I'm sitting for long periods. I noticed a pimple-like bump near my anus, and it hurts when I touch it. I'm worried this might be piles, but I'm not entirely sure. I've read online about self-care options, but I'm not sure what to do. Can you help me figure out if this is piles or something else, and suggest any creams or treatments? I've also attached a picture for reference.
It's generally safe to take cefadroxil and azithromycin together, as they work against different types of bacteria and have different mechanisms of action. However, it's essential to consult your doctor or surgeon before taking both medications, as they may interact or increase the risk of side effects. Inform your doctor about the azithromycin you've already taken and the remaining doses. They will assess the situation and provide guidance on whether to continue with the azithromycin and cefadroxil concurrently. Follow their instructions carefully to ensure safe and effective treatment. Monitor yourself for any adverse reactions or side effects while taking both medications.

I had surgery for external piles 5 years ago but lately I've been feeling mucus around my anal area - could this be internal piles? How can I check if it's internal piles or something else?
MRI is the investigation of choice.

I've been applying Smuth cream for my piles as prescribed, and it's been helping to reduce the size. But now, I've started experiencing really itchy sensations around my anus and the area beneath my scrotum. It's gotten to the point where I can't stop scratching, and now there's this flaky, dry skin developing and peeling off when I do. The doctor suggested I try a sitz bath, but I'm just wondering if there's anything else I should be doing or if this is something to be concerned about? Its really uncomfortable, so any advice would be appreciated.
