I'm dealing with a bit of a stomach issue. I usually need to go to the bathroom 2 or 3 times a day, but if I can't go in the afternoon, I end up feeling gassy and my stomach feels hot by the evening. How can I make sure my stomach stays clear so I don't have these problems anymore?

I'm feeling pretty nervous lately, and I'm not sure why. About a week ago, I went to a gastro specialist because I was really bloated. I noticed the bloating happens whenever I have dairy products, which is still an issue now. I've attached my blood test results, and they show that my LDL and NON-HDL levels are high. Could you give me some advice on what steps I should take?

From your blood test results showing high LDL and NON HDL levels, along with your symptoms of bloating and nervousness, it is important to address your cholesterol levels and digestive issues. To lower your LDL and NON HDL levels, I recommend starting a medication called Atorvastatin. Additionally, since you are experiencing bloating with dairy products, you can try taking a lactase enzyme supplement like Lactaid before consuming dairy to help with digestion. It is also advisable to follow a low-cholesterol diet and engage in regular physical activity to improve your overall health. Make sure to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and monitoring of your cholesterol levels.

I'm really worried because my GGT level has gone up to 250. Is there any way to bring it down in about a week or so? Could you suggest any medications or treatments that might help? I'm really looking forward to your advice.

Elevated GGT levels can be indicative of liver or bile duct issues. To help lower your GGT levels, you can take Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA). This medication can help improve liver function and reduce GGT levels. Additionally, you should avoid alcohol, maintain a healthy diet, and stay hydrated to support liver health.

I'm really worried about my husband's recent LFT results. His SGPT is 119 and SGOT is 86, and his bilirubin total is 0.97. He used to drink alcohol but has stopped now. What could these values indicate? Should we be concerned?

These elevated values can indicate liver damage or inflammation. Since he was alcoholic but has now stopped, it's important to continue with a healthy lifestyle. I recommend he takes Ursodeoxycholic acid to support his liver function and Milk Thistle extract to promote liver health.
