I'm dealing with a boil where I've managed to remove the pus, but the core hasn't come out yet. While the pain has gone down, I'm still a bit worried because I've dealt with recurring boils in the past. Right now, I'm dressing it two to three times a day and using Betadine ointment for it. I'm really careful about hygiene when cleaning the boils, but I'm not sure if Betadine is actually good for them. Could you suggest some medicine to help cure the boil and prevent them from coming back?

I've noticed some lumps in my mons pubis area about a month after I shaved there. They're not very big, just a bit red, and they only hurt when I touch or gently push them. I'm thinking it might be an abscess from shaving. I'm not married, so I'm wondering if there's an antibiotic cream you could recommend or if you have any other suggestions for what might help?
