I'm dealing with a bulky uterine fibroid and really want to avoid surgery since I'm single. Can you help me understand the root cause and explore non-surgical treatment options? What could be triggering this and are there natural ways to manage it?

View allMy wife started her period today, and she noticed a piece of white flesh, about the size of a finger, soaked in blood. It's the second time this has happened. We're really concerned and would like to know what this might be and if there's any reason to worry. Could you please give us some insight into what it is and why it's happening?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I've been having a really bad throat infection along with a blocked nose and cough. My gynecologist advised me to take Augmentin 625 Duo, which I've been on for the past two days. The cough was quite bad, so I decided to start Montek LC as well. I took a dose at about 3 PM yesterday, and then another half dose at midnight. I'm continuing with the antibiotics for another three days to finish the course. Can you tell me if taking these medications together is safe?
It's generally safe to take Augmentin 625 Duo (amoxicillin-clavulanate) as prescribed by your gynecologist for 5 days, and Montek LC (montelukast) as needed for cough, but taking an extra half dose of Montek LC at midnight may not be necessary, so consult your doctor to confirm the dosage and ensure safe use during pregnancy, as both medications are category B, meaning animal studies have shown no harm, but human studies are limited.

I've been diagnosed with small fibroids in both breasts and my doctor said surgery isn't needed but now my right armpit has a soft swollen bump that feels like fat or maybe extra breast tissue there's no pain or lumps is this something to worry about
A soft bump under the armpit may be ectopic breast tissue or a lipoma. It’s usually harmless, but an ultrasound can confirm the diagnosis.
