I'm dealing with cough syncope and it's happening to me every single day. I can't seem to find any doctors or treatments for this issue, and it's really concerning me. How can I get help for this condition?

Cough syncope occurs when intense coughing temporarily reduces blood flow to the brain, causing fainting. To manage this, focus on controlling your cough with prescribed medications (like bronchodilators or anti-tussives) and avoid triggers. Consult a pulmonologist or neurologist to rule out underlying conditions like asthma, COPD, or arrhythmias.

View allI've been having chest pain for about two weeks now, mostly on the left side under my breast. It's really uncomfortable because it gets worse when I lie down and feels like it's traveling to my back. Breathing deeply is painful, like a pinching feeling, and sneezing isn't an option because of the pain. I also feel like there's mucus in my throat, although I'm not coughing much. Last year around this time, I had a bad cough that lasted a month. When I saw a doctor last year, they had me do a chest X-ray and an HRCT, but those were normal, as was my CBC test. They gave me a painkiller with paracetamol since I had a fever in the beginning, but the fever's gone now. The chest pain isn't improving and seems to be getting worse. Do you have any advice on what I should do?
take a painkiller if yoy are having pain. drink plenty of water

Can I wash my 3M 9010 N95 pollution mask with detergent powder? Also, could you recommend a really effective pollution mask for the Delhi air? I'm a bit concerned about safety with all this pollution.
N95 mask is advised to the patient.

I'm dealing with a cold that originally started in my sinuses, but now it's moved down to my chest. I've got a lot of chest congestion and it's getting hard to breathe at times. I'm constantly coughing up phlegm, and sometimes I just can't seem to get relief from the coughing. What can I do to alleviate these symptoms?
I recommend taking an over-the-counter medication like Mucinex DM (guaifenesindextromethorphan) to help with chest congestion and to loosen mucus. The usual dosage is 1-2 tablets every 12 hours. Additionally, you can try using a humidifier to help with breathing and staying hydrated to help loosen the mucus. If symptoms persist or worsen, please seek medical attention.
