I'm dealing with a dry cough that's been lingering for the past 7 days. I've been taking montair lc and alex cough syrup, and while there's been some relief, it feels like the cough actually gets worse when I'm at home. Is that normal, or is there something else I should be doing to help with this?

View allI've noticed that sometimes my sputum has a really bad smell in the morning, but I don't have a cold or feel sick in any other way. I'm generally healthy otherwise. I'm curious if this could be a sign of something more serious, like lung cancer? It doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally. Should I be worried?
