I'm dealing with GERD and Gastritis and my doctor just prescribed Ganaton Total. But here's the thing, I have a sulfa allergy and I'm really worried if it's safe for me to take this medication. Could this cause any kind of allergic reaction?

You should be able to take Ganaton Total safely with a sulfa allergy since it does not contain sulfonamide

View allI'm dealing with gallstones and some gastric issues, and I've been taking Ursocol 300mg twice a day. I'm wondering if there might be any side effects if I continue this for an extended period, like 6 months to a year. Any insights?

I'm having this really uncomfortable issue with gas that seems to flare up after lunch and gradually gets worse by the evening. It's like my digestive power just isn't what it used to be. I feel hungry, but when I eat, it doesn't seem to digest properly, and my stomach feels tight. Even if I eat just a little bit, I start burping a lot. This has been going on for about 4 to 5 years. Any idea what's going on or what I can do about it?
Your symptoms of gas, bloating, reduced digestive power, feeling uneasy, and difficulty digesting food, which have persisted for 4-5 years, may indicate underlying conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroparesis, small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), or enzyme deficiencies, so it's essential to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation, diagnosis, and personalized treatment plan to alleviate your symptoms and improve digestion.

I've been feeling this weird globus sensation and tightness in my throat for a while now, but it doesn't hurt or make it hard to swallow. I got an endoscopy done, and there was only some erosion in the stomach's fundus; everything else looked normal. I do have mild acidity, but no heartburn or difficulty swallowing. There's nothing unusual in my throat or lymph nodes either. My mom passed away from anaplastic carcinoma of the thyroid, and that seriously worries me. What could be causing this discomfort in my throat?
