I'm dealing with grade 2 fatty liver, and I usually drink from moderate to heavy. They've mentioned it's a reversible condition but that it'll take time. I'm also a bit overweight. Can you let me know how long it might take for my liver to recover? And what kind of precautions should I be taking to help speed up the recovery?

Fatty liver grade 2 can be reversed with lifestyle changes, but it will take time, typically several months to a year. Focus on cutting out alcohol, adopting a balanced, low-fat diet, exercising regularly, and losing weight gradually to support liver health and recovery. Be patient, as consistent effort will make a difference over time.

View allI'm really struggling hereI've had diarrhea for the last 3 months and my doctor said it might be IBS. I'm currently taking ibset, but before this, I tried colospa x and eldicet. The problem is, every time I stop the meds, the diarrhea comes back, and sometimes it happens like 3 to 4 times a day with mucus. I'm worried and not sure what I should be doing differently. Any advice on how to manage this?

I've been dealing with this really annoying itching around my anus for about a month now. I tried taking Zentel, but it hasn't helped at all. What could be causing this, and is there something else I should be trying for relief?
Itching around the anus could be due to multiple causes, including infections, hemorrhoids, or skin irritation. Since Zentel hasnt helped, its unlikely to be worms. Keep the area clean and dry, use an anti-itch cream like hydrocortisone, and consider consulting a doctor for further evaluation.

I'm dealing with a grade 2 fatty liver, and I'm currently on medication for it. But I'm really worried because if I stop my meds even for a day, I've noticed the pain comes back. It's on the left side just below my ribs, and it's usually triggered by gas buildup. I'm taking Udiliv 150mg, Eiref, and Fibator. Do you think these meds are right for me? And how long does it usually take to get better with this condition?
It seems like you are on the right track with your current medication for fatty liver grade 2. Udiliv 150mg is a good choice to help improve liver function and Eiref can help with gas build up. Fibator is also commonly used to manage cholesterol levels which can benefit liver health. It is important to continue taking these medications as prescribed by your doctor. As for the time it will take to cure you, it is important to understand that fatty liver disease is a chronic condition that may require long-term management. The goal of treatment is to prevent progression of the disease and manage symptoms. It is best to follow up with your doctor regularly to monitor your condition and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
