I've been experiencing a lot of strange noises coming from my stomach lately. It's like there's a constant rumbling, growling, and gurgling going on, especially after I use the washroom in the morning. I've also noticed that my trips to the bathroom have been a bit concerning since the latrine seems to be a slightly darker color. On top of that, I sometimes get hit with sudden bouts of what feels like dysentery. This has been happening for about 5 to 6 months now. Could you offer any insight into what's going on with my stomach?

Loose motions can be challenging, especially with a competition tomorrow. Here are some remedies to help alleviate symptoms and potentially cure loose motions within a day:

Home Remedies

  1. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids, such as water, clear broths, or electrolyte-rich beverages like coconut water or sports drinks.
  2. Banana and rice: Eat bananas and plain white rice to help firm up stool.
  3. Ginger: Consume ginger in the form of tea, capsules, or add fresh ginger to your food to help soothe the digestive system.
  4. Yogurt: Eat plain, unflavored yogurt containing live cultures (probiotics) to help restore gut bacteria.

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications

  1. Loperamide (Imodium): Take as directed to help slow down bowel movements and reduce frequency.
  2. Bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto-Bismol): Take as directed to help protect the stomach and intestines from irritation.

Additional Tips

  1. Avoid spicy, fatty, or heavy foods: Stick to bland, easily digestible foods.
  2. Avoid caffeine and carbonated drinks: These can exacerbate loose motions.
  3. Get plenty of rest: Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep to help your body recover.

Remember, if your symptoms worsen, or you experience:

  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Vomiting blood or black tarry stools
  • Fever above 101.5F (38.6C)
  • Signs of dehydration (excessive thirst, dark urine, dizziness)

I'm worried because my SGPT levels aren't going down, although my SGOT levels are normal. I'm thinking about starting Liv52 to see if it helps lower my SGPT. How long should I keep taking it, and is it actually effective for this issue? Any advice would be really helpful.

SGPT (ALT) levels may not decrease quickly with Liv52 alone, as it primarily supports liver health but doesn't directly treat underlying causes. It's important to identify the cause of the elevated SGPT and follow your doctor's guidance. You can continue Liv52 for a few weeks, but a healthcare provider's advice is key.

I'm a bit puzzled and worried here. My latest reports show that everything's normal, but my SGPT is at 79 and SGOT is 42. The ultrasound mentions a grade 1 fatty liver, which is confusing because all my friends with fatty liver haven't had any risen liver enzymes like I do. Why is this happening to me?

R U A ALCOHOLIC? IF SO, LIVER ENZYMES ARE RAISED DUE TO THAT. FATTY LIVER IS ALSO DUE TO THAT? WHY YOUR FRIENDS DON'T HAVE INCREASED LIVER ENZYMES THAT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SAY? ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE FATTY LIVER ALSO?? IT'S QUERY ABOUT U N YOU HAVE MENTIONED ALL INFORMATION ABOUT U SO DON'T WORRY. DIET CONTROL N WALKING IS CHANGED THE LIVER ENZYMES. SGPT IS RAISED SGOT IS NOT SO MUCH ENLARGED. SO IF U R ALCOHOLIC TRY TO MININIMISE IT TO 60 ML. LOW FAT, LEAST OIL,NO FRIED JUNK FOOD OR FOOD FROM OUTSIDE. BRICK WALKING AT LEAST FOR 30 MINUTES.

I've been on Sompraz HP for 14 days, and now my doctor wants me to switch to Sompraz L. I'm worried it might be addictive. Do I really need to take it, or can I skip it?

Sompraz L is not addictive, but you should not stop it abruptly without your doctors guidance. Consult your doctor to discuss alternative treatments or a plan to gradually reduce or discontinue the medication.
