I'm dealing with hair fall because of seborrheic dermatitis, and I'm wondering if my hair will grow back naturally once the infection gets better. Do I need to worry about getting some sort of treatment like a transplant or taking medication, or can I expect my hair to regrow on its own? If it does grow back naturally, how long would that usually take? Id really appreciate your honest advice.

Hair fall due to seborrheic dermatitis can improve once the infection is treated. You may not necessarily need procedural treatments like transplants. Medications such as ketoconazole shampoo can help manage seborrheic dermatitis and promote hair regrowth. It may take several weeks to a few months for hair to regrow after the infection has been treated effectively.

View allI've been doing this every day for about 6 years now, and I'm starting to worry about how it's affecting my sex life. Do you have any advice on how I can cut back on this habit?
Understand the Root Cause: Reflect on why you're engaging in this behavior. Is it due to stress, boredom, loneliness, or another underlying issue? Understanding the triggers can help you address them more effectively. Set Healthy Boundaries: Gradually reduce the frequency of the behavior. If you're engaging in it daily, you could try reducing it to every other day, then every few days, until you reach a frequency you're comfortable with. Develop other healthy habits: Engage in activities like exercise, hobbies, reading, or socializing to redirect your energy into positive outlets. Mindful Sex Practices: Practicing mindfulness during sexual activity can help you be more present with your partner, enhance emotional connection, and improve overall satisfaction. Incorporate Stress-Relieving Practices: Exercise: Regular physical activity can reduce stress, anxiety, and excess energy, which might otherwise contribute to habitual behaviors. Meditation or Breathing Exercises: These can help you manage urges and develop a greater sense of self-control. Therapy: If you're feeling guilty or conflicted about your sexual habits, speaking with a therapist or counselor (especially one experienced in sexual health or addiction) can provide valuable support. Seek Professional Help: If you're finding it difficult to reduce or control the behavior, a sexual health professional, therapist, or counselor can provide specific strategies and support.

I've been on minoxidil for about a week now, and I've noticed my skin getting really dry where I've been using it. Is it okay to use a moisturizer on my crown area? And if yes, should I do that before or after applying the minoxidil solution?

Can I wash my hair daily with water only?
Yes, there is no harm in washing hair daily with plain treated water but prefer cold water. You need to check for excess chlorine or bleach in water which may cause dryness and split ends on repeated exposure.
