I'm dealing with hair loss and got my blood work back, showing my vitamin D level is really low at just 6. My doctor gave me a vitamin D injection and advised a follow-up dose in six months. I'm wondering, how long will it take for this injection to actually boost my vitamin D levels? Should I be taking any supplements in the meantime to help out?

I've noticed my hair is really dry, and I'm trying to avoid shampoos with too many chemicals. Do you have any suggestions for a good shampoo that might help with this? I'm a bit unsure about what to look for and would appreciate some advice.

I've been dealing with this pitryasis rosea thing since last week. The doctor said it might take a few months to clear up and gave me some mild soap and lotion. But now the first rashes are turning brown and feel bumpy and scaly. It's like I can feel them raised on my skin. They look really bad, and it doesn't seem like they're going away anytime soon. Is this normal? What should I expect, and is there anything else I can do?

It is normal for the rash in pityriasis rosea to evolve over time, with the initial rash often becoming darker in color and developing a scaly texture. To help alleviate the symptoms and promote healing, you can consider using a mild corticosteroid cream like Hydrocortisone 1% twice a day on the affected areas. Additionally, taking an antihistamine like Cetirizine 10mg once daily can help with any itching. Make sure to continue using the prescribed mild soap and lotion as well. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.

I'm really worried about my hair. Over the last four months, I've noticed my hair is falling out a lot, and it's getting really thin. Are there any specific medicines or lotions you'd recommend? I'm really hoping to get my hair back to being thick and long soon.

Minoxidil 5. for local application ,once daily for 3-6 weeks is advised, tab finasteride 5 mg once daily for 3-6 weeks is advised to the patient.
