I'm dealing with heart issues and also have diabetes. Can I safely take Ramitorva capsules along with my current medication, Cetanil 10mg?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, you can take Ramitorva capsules (which contain Ramipril and Atorvastatin) along with Cetanil 10mg. Ramitorva helps in controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels, while Cetanil (Cetirizine) is an antihistamine used for allergies. Just make sure to follow the prescribed dosage for each medication.

View allI've been having this subtle pain and discomfort around my ribs, and it's really starting to give me anxiety and hypertension. I've already done an ECG, TST, and some blood tests, but everything came back normal. I've seen a couple of doctors, and they mentioned it's probably related to rib pain, but it feels more serious to me. Is there any specific X-ray or test I should be looking into?

What factors affect diastolic blood pressure?
Causes of diastolic high blood pressure include both lifestyle factors and genetics, but the hypertension is multifactorial.

I've noticed when I'm lying down that I can really feel my heartbeat in my left chest and sometimes even in other parts of my body. I've already had an ECG, echo, and TMT, and they all came back normal. My anxiety has been under control, but this is still happening. Could it be something else or is this just something normal?
can be due to benign causes such as heightened awareness of your heartbeat (palpitations) or muscle twitching. This can be exacerbated by anxiety. To help alleviate these symptoms, you can try taking a beta-blocker medication like Metoprolol (25-50mg) once daily to reduce the sensation of palpitations. Additionally, practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing exercises or yoga can also be beneficial in managing these symptoms.
