I'm dealing with high blood pressure since 2020 and I often have headaches and chest pain. My average blood pressure is around 150100. My doctor has prescribed me olmesartan 20mg. Should I be concerned about these symptoms, and is the medication dosage suitable?

Since you are already taking olmesartan 20mg for your high blood pressure, it is important to continue with the medication as prescribed by your doctor. In addition to olmesartan, you can also consider adding a calcium channel blocker such as Amlodipine 5mg to further control your blood pressure. It is important to monitor your blood pressure regularly and follow up with your doctor for any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.

View allMy dad is 58 and has a lot going on with his health. He's been through CABG surgery and deals with CKD and diabetes. His weight is around 59-61 kg. Up until now, his blood pressure's been quite stable, but recently I noticed it's gone up to about 140150 over 8090. I'm getting pretty worried about it. Do you think there's something with his medication? He's on Orofer XT, Cardivas 6.25, Nefrosave forte, Alfoo tab, Ecospirin Gold, and Isolazine. Could any dietary changes help as well? Would love to know what you think.
Given your father's medical history and current medications, to help manage his increased blood pressure, you can consider adding an antihypertensive medication like Amlodipine 5mg once daily. Additionally, it's important to ensure he is following a low-sodium diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Encouraging regular physical activity and stress-reducing activities can also be beneficial for his overall health.

I'm a 41-year-old guy and I've been dealing with this chest pain on my left side along with some breathing issues for about 20 days now. I had an ECG and Stress Echo, and both came out normal. I'm really confused about what could be causing this pain since it's been going on for so long. Can you recommend any medications or maybe some other tests that might help figure out what's going on? I'd really appreciate any guidance you can offer.

I'm trying to understand if the Carca 3.125 medication I'm taking after having a stent placed is related to the headaches I've been experiencing. My blood pressure seems to be stable around 10567 after taking the meds, so I'm a bit puzzled. Could the Carca be affecting me this way?
