I'm dealing with an infection around my anus, and I think it might be a perianal abscess. It's really painful, and there's a continuous discharge of pus. I can't even sit properly because of it. Could you please suggest what I should do?

View allI had sebaceous cyst surgery on November 10th and got my stitches removed on the 19th, but the cut hasn't fully healed there's still a small gap. Now my doctor is recommending putting in two more stitches, one of them dissolvable. Is this the right move or should I be concerned about the healing process?
This condition may require clinical evaluation to determine the exact cause and treatment. Some cases can be managed conservatively, while others may need surgical intervention depending on size, symptoms, and severity. Regular follow-up is important to monitor progress.

Is it safe to schedule an umbilical hernia surgery on amavasya or do doctors avoid operating on that day? I've heard some people say it's not a good time for surgeries but I'm not sure if that's just a myth
Many people are able to delay surgery for months or even years. And some people may never need surgery for a small hernia. If the hernia is small and you don't have any symptoms, or if the symptoms don't bother you much, you and your doctor may simply continue to watch for symptoms to occur.
