I'm dealing with an itchy patch on my skin around the groin, and it's forming scales and wrinkles. I've tried all types of fungal and bacterial creams, but nothing seems to work. I'm really worried and not sure what to do next. Could you please help me figure out what's going on and how I can get some relief?

our symptoms are suggestive of tinea cruris(jock itch). Tine cruris is a fungal infection in the groin area. It affects mostly adult men. It's caused by a type of fungus called dermatophytes. Dermatophytes like to grow on skin that's moist and warm and thrive in areas where skin comes into contact with other skin, such as the groin or between the toes. You will have to keep the groin dry, have an antifungal tablet, antacid and a topical antifungal over the area. The following steps may help:
- Avoid using oily skin products
- Reduce your exposure to the sun. Exposure to sun may trigger or worsen an episode and a tan makes the rash more visible.
- Do not wear tight clothing.
- Change undergarments regularly
- Wear breathable fabrics such as cotton to decrease the sweating.
- Keep areas where there is sweat accumulation dry regularly and apply powder in those areas to reduce the moisture. If the problem is persistent or worsens I would advise you to meet a dermatologist.

View allCan you tell me if it's safe to use Evion 400 Vitamin E capsules on my face? I've heard about its benefits, but I'm worried about any possible side effects. If it is good for my skin, how many capsules should I be using? I'd really appreciate some advice on this!

My dad's been dealing with some pretty bad lower back pain and ended up using way too much pain relief balm. Now, his skin looks burnt. Do you have any home remedies that might help with this?

I'm dealing with a really uncomfortable issue with my right breast. The skin on my areola is peeling and it's constantly sticking to my bra. When I take my bra off, the skin comes off too and it's quite painful. I had eczema a few years back with similar symptoms but that cleared up with aloe vera after about two months. This time it seems worse and isn't as itchy, just sometimes. It's sore and a bit reddish. I'm worried and wondering if it's possible to be dealing with something serious like cancer at my age. It's really freaking me out and I'm not sure what to do.
