My mom's been using Medisalic ointment during the winter months, and she's noticed that brown spots start showing up on her face. It's weird because she uses the same ointment in the summer and doesn't get these spots. Her skin's also pretty dry. Could you help us figure out why this might be happening? We're really puzzled about what's going on.

The brown spots may be due to the combination of medication, winter dryness, and increased sun sensitivity. Protecting the skin with sunscreen, using the ointment sparingly, and ensuring proper hydration can help manage this issue. If the problem persists or gets worse, its always a good idea to seek further advice from a dermatologist to tailor the treatment specifically to her skin type.

I'm dealing with some pretty big pimples and a hair regrowth issue. One of my doctors mentioned it might be linked to liver detox. I'm really concerned about how dangerous this could be for my health. Is there a way to treat it, and does it take a long time to fix? Also, if you could share your mobile number for further advice, that would be great.

there could be association between liver abnormnality and acne and hairgrowth, visit dermatologist for evaluation and appropriate treatment.

I'm really struggling with a stubborn verruca that just won't go away. I've tried all sorts of treatments like verruca gel and even duct tape, but nothing seems to work. Do you think I should see a doctor to have it removed? I'm starting to get worried.

I understand your frustration with the verruca not going away despite trying various treatments. In this case, it would be advisable to consult a doctor for further evaluation and treatment. They may prescribe stronger medications such as Salicylic acid solution or prescribe cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen to remove the verruca effectively.

My mom, who's 55, got a pimple on her neck last month. The doctor recommended a Mantoux test, and from the results, they mentioned she might have skin TB. The thing is, except for that pimple, she doesn't have any other symptoms of TB. I'm wondering if just one Mantoux test is really enough to diagnose TB, or should we be looking into more tests? And also, is skin TB something that's curable? Would love some guidance on this.

yes skin tuberculosis is curable
