I'm dealing with jaundice and my bilirubin level is 5.2, with the conjugate one at 3.5 and the unconjugate at 1.5. How long should I expect this to take before it improves? And is it okay for me to go to college while I'm dealing with this? I've been eating boiled foods, but I'm wondering if it's safe to have noodles or something similar while I'm recovering.

With a bilirubin level of 5.2, your jaundice is mild to moderate, and recovery time varies from person to person, but typically takes 1-4 weeks; you can attend college, but take regular breaks, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous activities; stick to a bland diet, and while boiled foods are good, avoid fattyspicy foods like noodles for now, instead opt for easily digestible foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (BRAT diet),

View allI'm seeing blood in my mucus pretty often throughout the past month. I did a PT Prothrombin time test, and it was 15 seconds, which seems higher than the normal range of 14.4 seconds. But the INR is 1.17, which I think is okay. I'm wondering if the bleeding is linked to some liver issues or if having a PT of 15 seconds is still considered normal? Do you think I should go for a Liver Function Test (LFT) to check what's going on?
Yes LFT is advised to the patient.

I'm a bit worried because my stool test showed 12 HPF pus cells and an acidic pH. The CRP level is 1.5 and I'm not quite sure what this means, but I read that it's within the normal range. Could these results indicate some kind of bowel issue, and should I be concerned about something more serious? What steps should I take next?
yes
