I'm dealing with pinworms in my stomach again and, from what I remember, I used to take ZENTEL for this when I was a kid. I'm really unsure about how to proceed. Could you guide me on what I should do?

For pinworms, the typical adult dose of Zentel (Albendazole) is 400mg, taken as a single dose, and repeated in 2 weeks to ensure complete elimination of the parasites

View allI've just been told I have grade 2 fatty liver NASH, and I'm trying to wrap my head around what kind of diet I should follow. Since I eat a lot of rice, I'm really curious about which type would be best for me. Could you help me figure this out?
For grade 2 fatty liver NASH, it is important to follow a healthy diet to manage the condition. You should focus on consuming a diet that is low in saturated fats, refined sugars, and processed foods. Instead, opt for a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. In terms of rice, it is recommended to choose whole grains such as brown rice or wild rice over white rice. Brown rice is a good option as it is high in fiber and nutrients, which can be beneficial for your liver health. You can include brown rice in your diet in moderation and pair it with lean proteins and plenty of vegetables for a well-balanced meal. Additionally, it is important to monitor your portion sizes and avoid overeating, even if it is a healthier option like brown rice. Regular exercise and staying hydrated are also important factors in managing fatty liver NASH.

I'm really concerned right now. A couple of months ago, I had typhoid, but everything seemed fine afterward. I did an ultrasound and all my tests came back normal, so I went back to my usual diet. But recently, after a weekend of drinking more alcohol than usual, I experienced a hangover that felt really strange. I went to the hospital, and while most of my liver function test results were normal, my bilirubin levels were highBilirubin Total was 2.2, Direct was 0.9, and Indirect was 1.3. The ultrasound showed nothing abnormal, though. My doctor prescribed some ursodeoxycholic acid tablets and anti-reflux meds, and suggested we repeat the liver function test after 15 days. I'm pretty worried about this whole situation. Could this be linked to my past typhoid, or did the alcohol play a bigger role? What should I be keeping an eye on? This is stressing me out.

I've just gotten over typhoid fever, but I'm really struggling because my appetite hasn't come back at all. I'm kind of worried and not sure what steps I should take to get my hunger back. I'm only able to handle a liquid diet right now. Any advice on what I could do or how long it might take to start feeling hungry again?
give it time: Recovery from typhoid fever can take a few weeks, and regaining appetite may take a bit longer. Start slow: Gradually increase the complexity and quantity of your diet as your body adjusts. Stay hydrated and focus on easily digestible foods for the time being.
