I've been dealing with some throat irritation on and off for the last couple of weeks, and now it feels like mucus is traveling from my throat down to my chest, especially after I eat. Eating doesn't bother me, but afterward, it feels like the mucus shifts to my chest, even though I don't have a cough, cold, or a fever. I've also noticed a bit of pain in the middle of my chest. I'm dealing with this really annoying issue where I seem to burp more than 50 times a day. It's like every time I eat, I burp a bunch of times and even when I'm not eating, it happens like 23 times an hour. I'm just trying to understand what's going on. What could be causing so much burping?
