I used Memopi Hc to try and lighten my brown freckles a few months ago, but accidentally applied it all over my face, which made my skin fair. Since stopping, I've noticed hyperpigmentation on my cheeks that's been around for 3 years now. Ive tried a bunch of medicines and remedies to lighten the pigment, but nothing seems to work. Any advice or suggestions you could offer would be really appreciated.

I'm having a bit of a freak-out right now. I've always had a few breakouts after getting my back waxed, but this time it's way worse.
