I'm dealing with something really weird for the first time. I've got an abscess on my buttcrack, and it's been almost a week now, but it hasn't healed yet. I've been trying antibiotics and warmcold presses, but I still don't see the head coming up. I'm a bit unsure about whom I should visit for this. I think draining it out would be best, but shouldn't there be a head before that can happen? What do you think I should do?

View allI have a sack-like growth near my belly button on the right side, about the size of a jackfruit seed. My family doctor said it's not serious and can be removed with a simple surgery. Should I see a dermatologist or a general surgeon for this?

I'm considering laparoscopy for gallbladder stones but heard sometimes it doesn't work and they have to switch to full surgery during the procedure - is that true? And is there any way to know beforehand if this might happen in my case?
Yes, it's true that sometimes laparoscopic gallbladder removal (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) can be converted to open surgery (open cholecystectomy) during the procedure. While laparoscopic surgery is the preferred method due to its quicker recovery and smaller incisions, certain factors can necessitate a switch to open surgery

I've been diagnosed with a right inguinoscrotal hernia after a scrotal Doppler scan, and all doctors are recommending surgery. I'm wondering if homeopathy could be a good alternative will it actually help fix this or should I just go for the surgery?
In this procedure, which might be done with local anesthesia and sedation or general anesthesia, the surgeon makes an incision in your groin and pushes the protruding tissue back into your abdomen. The surgeon then sews the weakened area, often reinforcing it with a synthetic mesh (hernioplasty)
