I'm experiencing dizziness for the past 4 weeks. My ENT doctor prescribed STABLANZ PV and VERTIGON tablets, which help a lot when I take them. But when I stop, the dizziness and spinning in my head come right back. Does this sound like vertigo to you, or could it be something else? Also, any advice on how to get rid of this dizziness, or if there's anyone else I should consult?

I've been dealing with a neurofibroma NF1 for the past 7 years and it's been quite tough. I've consulted several doctors and they all keep saying that surgery is the only option. I'm really considering going through with facial surgery now, but I'm anxious about it. Are there really no other treatments or recent developments that might help before I decide to go under the knife?

My dad's been experiencing this weird numbness and needle-like sensation in the two fingers next to his thumb for a few days now. It's mainly in the tip. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
This numbness and tingling sensation in the fingers could be due to a condition called Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I recommend using a wrist splint to keep the wrist in a neutral position, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen. Additionally, applying a topical pain relief cream containing diclofenac can help alleviate the symptoms. If the symptoms persist, I suggest consulting a doctor for further evaluation and management.
