It's called tinnitus..it may occur due to many reasons.. get an audiometry and tympanometry to assess the hearing status.. visit an ENT specialist for proper assessment.

If you are experiencing vertigo which is triggered by positional changes, such as whilst getting up from a lying down position, or whilst turning your head quickly, you should consult an ENT specialist in order to rule out BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). If your vertigo is triggered at random, without any particular change in position, you should consult a neurologist for further evaluation.

I've been having this really weird feeling for the past few days where I feel like I'm being choked while I'm asleep. It's like a tightness in my throat that makes me feel like I can't breathe. It doesn't happen every single night but it does occur 2 to 3 times a week. I usually wake up when it happens and I've noticed it often when I'm sleeping on my stomach. What could be causing this?
